To celebrate the launch of the M&M’S Fun Club—a new rewards program aimed at delighting fans—Sleepover Party Shop designed and delivered a bold, immersive sleepover experience that combined nostalgia, connection, and the unmistakable joy of the M&M’S brand. The result? A multi-phase campaign that dazzled influencers, delighted contest winners, and made waves in the world of experiential marketing.
Phase 1: A Colorful Kickoff on Media Day
On February 25, 2024, media and influencers were welcomed into a transformed section of the M&M’S store. We curated a glamping-inspired party space filled with:
🌈 Two teepee tents glowing with fairy lights and decorated in signature M&M’S color palettes
🍬 A vibrant Sweet Creation Bar serving M&M’S Cereal Bars, Pancakes, and Mocha Frappe
🎲 A game lounge featuring classic throwbacks like Candy Land, Twister, and retro video games
💫 A DIY BFF Bracelet Bar with a rainbow of M&M’S-inspired beads
🧺 A low-rise picnic setup styled with floor cushions and M&M’S-branded decor

Weeks later, on April 28, four contest winners arrived at M&M’S Times Square for an exclusive, overnight sleepover inside the store.
Our team upgraded the experience with:
